Every day, artists on Rapchat open a beat and write to it. A lot of those beats are yours. The songs, the challenges, the charts all start with a producer.
Over the last few weeks we shipped four things that put producers closer to the center of that: a way to turn your beat into a challenge, a fan club you run yourself, stats for every beat, and a simpler Boost. Here's what each one does and how to start.
Start a challenge on your beat
Community challenges: put your beat in front of artists
Community challenges are free. Pick one of your beats, write a prompt, and set an end date. Artists record to your beat to enter, you get notified on every entry, and when it ends you pick the winner. We feature the winning song on Rapchat.
You get a batch of new songs made on your beat, and one artist gets a real spotlight. Two producer challenges are live right now if you want to see how it looks:

Drop Club: your own fan club (beta)
Drop Club gives you a fan club on Rapchat. Fans subscribe for $10 a month and get what you post there: exclusive beats, early tracks, downloads, updates.

Add your PayPal email in Studio settings. We review earnings after each month closes, then send approved payouts by PayPal. Drop Club is still in beta, so tell us what gets in the way.
Creator Ops: see which beats artists are using (Platinum)
Creator Ops is a dashboard on Rapchat web for Platinum members. Producer mode shows plays and likes for every beat, and how many tracks were made with each one. It also shows who visited your profile, which is private to you.

Use it to find the beat artists keep coming back to. That's usually the one to put into a challenge or a Boost.
Boosts
Amplify the reach of your uploads with Boosts.
Start your own challenge in 3 steps
- Pick your beat. Open rapchat.com/challenges/create and choose one of your beats. Your most-played one is a good start.
- Set the prompt and end date. Tell artists what you want: a theme, a hook, a vibe. Two weeks is a good length.
- Share it and pick a winner. Post the link where your fans are. When it ends, choose your favorite entry and we'll feature it on Rapchat.
What should we build next?
These are a start. Tell us what should come next. We read every reply:
- What do you wish Rapchat did for producers?
- Which of these would you actually use?
- What's missing?
