If Rapchat has shared a TestFlight invite link with you, it means you’ve been given early access to test new features or updates. TestFlight, an app from Apple, allows you to try out pre-release versions of apps and provide valuable feedback. Here’s how to download TestFlight and get started:
Step 1: Open the Invite Link
When you receive the TestFlight invite link from Rapchat, click on it. The link will direct you to either:
The TestFlight app (if it’s already installed), OR
The App Store page for TestFlight (if you don’t have it installed yet).
Step 2: Install TestFlight
If you don’t already have TestFlight installed, follow these steps:
Tap the Get button on the TestFlight page in the App Store.
Wait for the installation to complete.
Open the TestFlight app.
Step 3: Accept the Invitation
Once TestFlight is installed, go back and click on the invite link again:
TestFlight will display a prompt to accept the invitation to test Rapchat’s app.
Tap Accept.
Step 4: Download the Beta Version of Rapchat
After accepting the invitation you will have the option to install the beta app. Note that the beta app will overwrite your Rapchat app. As long as you are a gold member you will not lose any projects or data. If you are not a Gold member then we recommend not participating.
You’ll see the Rapchat app listed in TestFlight.
Tap Install to download the beta version of Rapchat
Once the installation is complete, open the app from TestFlight or your home screen.
Step 5: Test the app & provide feedback
As a beta tester, your feedback is SUPER important to make sure that the experience will be amazing for all users so please share your thoughts with us—the good and the bad!
Step 6: How to go back to the main Rapchat app
You can always go to the app store and download Rapchat again to go back to the main app. This will replace the beta (only one can be on your phone at a time).
