@Don_SoLow oh absolutely man & I’ve heard people say the same thing but that just doesn’t make sense mumble means mumble, like you not saying a full word or sentence, like you said they just rapped fast just because all they said wasn’t understood doesn’t mean it was mumble rap. And everybody has their own opinions for real I love anything hip hop honestly because it was a sound like none other, a style like none other. But I love the WU I just like none better for real. Their sound was insane and the heart then dudes had, man. Something you def don’t see much of anymore

Can’t stand mumble rap, I’m from the same era as you so I’ll never vibe with that shit. Even though it can be argued that BTNH had a lot of influence on some of these mumble rappers style, like the migos, but they didn’t mumble they were just fast rapping, big difference. And I won’t argue that they were better than WU, maybe not as iconic but bone thugs lyricism was actually slept on heavily because of how fast they rapped. But I knew damn near all their lyrics cuz I studied them so I recognized it when it seems like a lot of folks didn’t.

@Don_SoLow first rap albums I ever owned was Dre the Chronic and Bone thugs East 1999. I’m from Ohio to so I was definitely hip to bone. In my opinion and I might get shot for saying this but…better then the WU. See one thing I’ll say is you guys don’t mumble rap or use autotune, you guys really keep it hip hop so for that I’ll always have respect regardless

See this ain’t bad either. 80’s baby too, grew up on BTNH, they were my favorite hip hop artists for a long time. You might even hear some of their influence in the melodies I do. Had BTNH bar in my newest track with Benny “monsters”
