Man I’m tired of all the fighting. Why can’t we go back to when life was simple. When hip-hop artists brought us bars on top of instrumentals. I sit and ponder what the worlds really coming to.... The better question would be what are we gonna do (about it)? Should we sit back on our lazy boys and laugh about it?.... Or should we march in the streets and we can sing about it?!?! I’m losing sleep because I’m constantly thinking about it. I’ve got a voice and I’ll use it. I never lose a battle. You choose to bring the heat.... so I assume you had to... There’s other options. Poppings never gonna stop our problems.... Consequences of our actions causing backlash. Cash snatching, bag slinging, clashing with a badge. Swinging back. Getting capped. (Pop) When’s it gonna stop? Change our ways. Paper chasing tryna make it to the top. Loss of life. Pay the price. Say goodbye or we could talk and solve our differences. Spitting sentences. Privy to the cause. Walk with confidence. Be positive constantly just because. Keep your head up. Send a message. Set a precedent of love. Take a stance. Stand strong. Look how far that we have come. There’s no going back now. We have the power. Don’t succumb.... ......There’s no room for hatred. Switching up our human nature. Pave the way for future generations so our youth don’t make the same mistakes that we did. We need to break free. It’s a possibility and something that we can achieve. I believe in this dream wholeheartedly. Perceive it with every part of me. I can feel it in the muscle that pumps blood up through my arteries.... It breaks my heart to see our people torn apart. We can do it if we choose to and it’s not too soon to start. I use my music to influence. Teaching lessons like professors do to students in the classrooms of our schools and it’s the golden rule I follow. Though the truth is hard to swallow. If you practice what you preach then we might see a new tomorrow.
