New ways to get heard: the full-screen freestyle video feed, song Boosts, and message privacy settings.

New

• Freestyle video feed: watch, like, comment on and share freestyle videos in a full-screen feed, and start your own from there.
• Boosts: boost your songs to reach more listeners.
• Message Settings: choose who can message you: everyone, verified artists and people you follow, or only people you follow.
• A more personal start: tell us what you want to do with Rapchat when you sign up.

Improved

• Clearer loading states across the app.
• Better layouts on Android 15 and 16, with nothing hidden behind the status or navigation bars.
• Smoother profile, feed and collection loading.
• A song is only shown as published once the upload has really finished.

Fixed

• Fixed the most common recording crash.
• Fixed freezes when deleting a Studio track.
