Full-quality AirPods recording, the Gold Pass, and steadier Studio, Freestyle Video and playback.

New

• Gold Pass: watch one ad each week to unlock an hour of Rapchat Gold.
• Profile videos in the feed: videos from a profile open in the full-screen video feed.
• Apps We Love: a new section featuring other awesome apps.

Improved

• Studio records from your AirPods microphone at full quality, and falls back to the iPhone mic instead of call-quality audio.
• Music, the For You feed and tracks pause cleanly for ads and paywalls and stay paused until you press play, and lock-screen controls work while you listen.
• Freestyle Video picks a clean cover frame, and Post to Rapchat waits until your video is ready.
• Share links from the For You feed open the right video.
• If Sign in with Apple can't finish on your device, you get a clear message and the option to sign in with email.
• Already have an account? Sign up with the same email and we'll send you a link to sign in.
• Project invite links now always work, even if you need to sign in first.
• Home feed cards are cleaner, and buttons are easier to read.
• Rapchat starts faster.

Fixed

• Freestyle Video recovers after a camera or microphone problem.
• Fixed Studio crashes when adding or deleting tracks, changing effects, or leaving Studio.
• A new Studio project is only created once, even on a slow connection.
• Project backups show only versions that are really saved to the cloud, and Remove Downloads keeps anything not backed up yet.
